Iโm a scientist & theologian. I founded and lead Living Christ Sangha, a Buddhist-Christian contemplative community at St. Bartโs Episcopal Church in NYC. I'm also a cyclist, cook, & lover of art and dachshunds. I'm married to poet David Groff.

Democracy does not work without mindfulness. Together we will rediscover democracy as a communal practice of caring for ourselves, each other, and the world--and explore how meditation supports us as citizens, civic leaders, and community builders.
