Charlie Leary, PhD, writes about the contemporary wine business, education, and the history of wine. Author of Leary’s Global Wineology: A Guide to Wine Education, Mentorships, and Scholarships. Doctorate in modern Chinese history (Cornell University).
Author of Leary’s Global Wineology, Charlie has managed restaurant wine programs in Nova Scotia, the Dordogne, New Orleans, and Costa Rica. He earned a PhD from Cornell. He currently writes for Decanter and other pubs.
