Robin Hood and the Monk

“Robin Hood and the Monk” is about 650 years old—it’s the oldest Robin Hood ballad humanity has preserved. No one knows who thought it up. No one knows who wrote it down—although there’s a decent chance those two were different people. Its details never make it into any of our movies, children’s books or graphic novels, but it’s an exceptionally well-written story. This version is my modern English adaptation, in both digital and audio formats. Both versions were written, produced and published by the author.
